1. Application of thermal shock chamber:
1.1 Application:
The application of rapid temperature change causing expansion and contraction of the test item is an effective means of creating premature failures of the product during the design or production phase
In accordance with certain of test specifications, a third mid-temperature zone is required. For these requirements, our innovative Three Zone Thermal Shock Test Chambers meet all demands.
The chambers are available with a test space capacity from 30 to 450 litre.
Additional chamber options are also available dependent upon user requirements including programming and logging software, temperature measurement on test specimen, air-cooled condenser unit and additional shelving.

1.3 KOMEG offers several configurations of thermal shock chambers capable of meeting a wide variety of testing needs.
Vertical, two zone chamber has hot and cold zones that can be controlled independently.
Horizontal, three zone thermal shock chamber utilizes controlled areas for hot, ambient and cold temperatures.
Double duty thermal shock chambers from KOMEG are designed with hot zones above and below the cold zone and a two compartment product carrier that simultaneously moves products between the hot and cold zones.

2.1 Refrigeration system characteristics
1. Short temperature recovery time
The maximum temperature recovery time at upstream air for 2 zone test (+150°C and -65°C) and 3 zone test is only 5 min.
