They have applications in as diverse industries as food science, semiconductors, and military quality assurance. A good constant temperature and humidity chamber is critical to assessing the potential success or failure of a product in the field. Climatic test chambers come in a variety of sizes, from small boxes that fit on a bench to room-sized chambers for large objects or testing large batches of products simultaneously. The temperature range is -73C to 190C, and the relative humidity range is 10% to 98%. Climate chambers are also used when product testing requires constant climatic conditions (temperature and/or humidity).
