KOMEG offers the newest and most modern salt fog testing chambers for your testing requirements. KOMEG salt spray test chambers are offered in 60 Liter, 270 Liter, 800 Liter and 960 Liter models and are cost effective solutions to acceleratedcorrosion testing of samples in salt fog. Models have an uncomplicated design that has optimized the openarea to maximize the number of test coupons while providing headroom for testing large and bulky objects.
The KOMEG Salt Spray Chambers are floor standing units with lockable wheels (big models) to allow easy andsecure repositioning. Height and reach distances provide easy access for loading and unloading couponsamples into removable slotted racks. An optional reinforced false floor is available to easily locate bulkyand heavy test items.
The Salt Spray chambers have an uncomplicated design that optimizes the open area tomaximize the number of test samples while providing ample room for testing large and bulky items.
There are two kinds of material for the gabled canopy. One is the transparent material for the small model allowing full visibility inside the chamber. The other is the fully insulated covering with inspection window that will ensure the chamber achieves maximum operating temperature if thechamber is located in a cool laboratory environment.
The combined water drain and fog vent removes the test water and fog from thechamber to prevent salt fog escape into the test lab atmosphere when the canopy is opened.

4. Salt Water Spray Test Chamber's Features:
A. The whole part of the device is made of P.V.C. Sheet and the inside of the device is reinforced by using a special lining material. Hence, it is sturdily made and will not transform forever.
B. The test chamber is heated from five directions in order to ensure the temperature difference in the chamber may be kept within (± 1℃).
C. Spray nozzle: The nozzle is specially made to enable it to suck up the salt water and then spray it out in the shape of mist with considerable high speed. When it falls on the surface of the item being tested, the difference of fallen mist may be controlled within ± 0.3ml / 80 cm2h.
D. HUNTER PRINCIPLE is used to make the saturated air hot and moist and to keep the humidity in the test chamber required for test.
E. Temperature is the pre-requisite condition that with have direct impact on corrosion rate. We use P.I.D. temperature control unit to limit the temperature difference within the range of ± 0.5℃.
F. A warning device is used to indicate the low level of the test fluid, when the fluid is only enough for being sprayed for five hours, a buzzer will remind the user to replenish the liquid to ensure continuous spray test.
G. Use full automatic detecting system, test stopped automatic, and lighting display when trouble.
