Applications
KOMEG's Walk-In Environmental Test Chambers provide simulation environment to achieve reliability test of computers and copiers or automobiles and satellites. Capable of testing large components, assemblies, and finished products, KOMEG's Walk-In chambers simulate a wide range of temperature and humidity environments. These chambers can be used for testing and controlled storage as well as a versatile laboratory environment for conducting test procedures in the telecommunications, defense, aerospace, pharmaceutical, automotive, and electronics industries.
A Thermotron Walk-In Chamber serves as a test site for large components, assemblies, and finished products. Thermotron manufactures both Panel Walk-In Chambers and Solid Walk-In Chambers and can be configured as a temperature chamber or a temperature humidity chamber.

Description
A Panel Walk-In Chamber is made from lightweight insulated panels for fast and easy installation. Outside banding helps prevent leaking and keeps moisture out of the Walk-In Chamber and workspace temperatures steady. Solid Walk-In Chambers are custom built to accommodate almost any size. They feature welded walls creating an environmental room for applications requiring controlled temperature and humidity testing exceeding 85°C. Typically, for ease of installation, a Solid Walk-In Chamber works best in new construction buildings, areas with extremely large doors, or rooms where outside walls can be easily removed.
Air Cooled Condensers for environmental chambers take the heat of out the equipment's refrigeration system. On smaller and standard Thermotron environmental equipment, the air-cooled condenser is located inside the environmental chamber. A remote air-cooled condenser is available for equipment with higher performance requirements or larger compressors.
Water-cooled condensers may also be available, depending on environmental chamber model.

Flexibility for structure
The panels used in our chamber are 4” (100mm or 150mm) Thick urethane-foam sandwiched between a stainless-steel interior wall and a coated-steel exterior. An assembled box is self-supporting. So that no heavy structural members are required. Different door sizes, flooring upgrades,access ports, and other modifications are possible.
